1 - Visit to the local Herb Grower
There you can learn about the production process and hand-select herbs to use in food preparation.
2 - Reception and Introduction
Back in the Restaurant you will receive and introduction to Cuban cuisine and its origins, presentation delivered in the El Ajiaco patio (with a restaurant employee providing english translation if required) to give you an apron to cook into the kitchen.
3 - Time to Cook
Demonstration of how to prepare local dishes including ropa vieja (shredded beef), plus lobster and shrimp enchilado (in tomato sauce) and our ajiaco (a typical Cuban root vegetable-based soup-stew).
4 - Mojito Class
Instruction on preparation of the Cuban mojito at the bar, followed by making your own version of this, one of Cuba's 3 signature cocktail.
5 - Have Lunch
Your lunch includes bread service (accompained by several of their own sauces), Ajiaco, rice, salads, beans, yucca, sample the beef/lobster/shrimp dishes that you learn how to prepare in the kitchen, accompained by a national brand beverage, your choice of typical Cuban desserts, traditional coffee and aged rum to finish of the mail and habano, at the end you receive a certificate of Cuban cuisine Chef.
